Buyer Terms
Buyer Terms
These Buyer Terms (“Buyer Terms”) apply to Users who purchase items on Intergeo Shop.
Purchasing Process
- Placing an Order: To buy an item, you must be a registered User. When you place an order, you authorise Intergeo Shop to act as commissionaire for the seller to accept your payment and conclude the sale. The contract of sale is conditioned upon (i) the seller shipping the item to Intergeo Shop’s inspection centre and (ii) the item passing quality control. This reflects Intergeo Shop practice that orders are subject to inspection.
- Payment: You agree to pay the total amount displayed at checkout (item price, service fee, shipping and taxes). Payment is collected by Intergeo Shop via its payment partner on behalf of the seller. Funds are held until the conditions of sale are fulfilled.
- Condition Precedent and Cancellation: If the seller does not send the item within the required timeframe or the item fails inspection, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
Delivery and Inspection Period
- Delivery: After passing inspection, the item is dispatched to you using a tracked delivery service. You are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes. Risk of loss transfers to you upon receipt.
- Inspection Period: Upon delivery, you have 72 hours to inspect the item and confirm that it matches the listing description. If you fail to notify Intergeo Shop of any discrepancy within 72 hours, the item will be deemed accepted and the seller will be paid. This 72‑hour window aligns with the buyer’s opportunity to raise claims in Intergeo Shop model.
- Claims: To lodge a claim, you must provide detailed evidence (photos, description) via the dispute form on the Website. If the claim is accepted, Intergeo Shop will arrange return shipping and refund you. If the claim is rejected, the sale stands and the seller is paid.
Cooling‑Off and Consumer Rights
- Private Sellers: For purchases from private sellers, EU consumer legislation governing distance contracts may not apply. Second‑hand goods are sold “as described”; no cooling‑off period is offered unless required by local law.
- Professional Sellers: If the seller qualifies as a “trader” under consumer law, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery. Intergeo Shop will specify on the product page when a trader is involved and will facilitate such returns.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not attempt to circumvent the platform by negotiating directly with the seller or sharing personal details. You must not misuse the platform to engage in fraudulent transactions, money laundering or export‑controlled dealings.
Limitation of Liability
Intergeo Shop is not responsible for the condition or functionality of items purchased, except as described in the inspection and returns process. Liability limitations from the general Terms apply.
